Giray Boran has over 14 years of experience primarily in the UK, US and Turkish investment management and private equity sectors, having advised on large scale corporate M&A and private equity transactions focusing on various industry segments. Throughout his career, Giray originated and has overseen the execution of over $10.0 billion of transactions across Emerging Markets, Western Europe and the US within the financing, capital markets and principal investments space
Giray serves as a Managing Director at BLG Capital and has invested over $1.5 billion of equity since 2012 and raised one United States and two Turkish private equity funds of $2.0 billion in aggregate to invest in United States and Turkey based companies with $6.0 billion in total assets under management. As part of UniCredit’s M&A Group in London and Turkey, Mr. Boran was responsible for country coverage for Private Equity deals. He advised over $4.0 billion of M&A, debt, equity financing transactions, and executed the largest Turkish REIT public offering.
