A Look Inside The Greenwich by Rafael Viñoly, One of the Architect’s Final Projects in NYC

The Greenwich by Rafael Viñoly is a striking 88-story residential tower in Downtown Manhattan’s heart. Standing at an impressive 912 feet, it is one of the final projects by the acclaimed architect.

Rafael Viñoly’s architectural and structural approach is prominently showcased in The Greenwich’s exterior. The building features an exposed concrete column that extends the entire height of the structure, paired with a distinctive glass facade with rounded corners. This design not only enhances the building’s aesthetic appeal but also offers residents expansive panoramic views, creating a seamless connection between the interiors and the surrounding cityscape.

The Greenwich by Rafael Viñoly features 272 meticulously crafted residences, ranging from studios to three-bedroom units, along with an exclusive selection of loft and penthouse suites. Each home offers sweeping views of the Hudson River, the Statue of Liberty, the World Trade Center, and the iconic New York City skyline. Designed by the internationally acclaimed interior design firm MAWD, the residences feature three unique palettes inspired by the cityscape, the Hudson River, and the clouds above.

MAWD’s interior design for the building draws inspiration from their previous work on private members’ clubs and superyachts. The three distinct palettes – Terra, Aqua, and Stratus – are manifested through custom kitchens and bathrooms featuring bespoke fittings, marble expanses, polished nickel trims, and antique bronze hardware. Kitchens are equipped with concealed Miele appliances, and primary bathrooms boast Covelano marble walls and floors, with a radiant floor heating system and custom wall-hung vanity.

The Greenwich provides over 27,000 square feet of luxurious amenities designed to cater to every aspect of modern living. Notably, 15,000 square feet of these amenities are situated at the building’s apex, over 800 feet above the city. Residents can indulge in a 50-foot saltwater lap pool, a serene spa, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and a private dining room, all while enjoying breathtaking views from the top of the tower.

Indoor and outdoor leisure options are abundant, featuring a resident lounge, screening room, multi-sport simulator, game room, library with co-working space, children’s playroom, and a landscaped terrace. The crown jewel of the amenities is the triple-height marble-adorned lobby, accentuated by a suspended chandelier and a cozy fireplace, setting the tone for the elegance that permeates throughout the building.

The Greenwich’s prime location offers residents access to some of Manhattan’s most renowned landmarks and luxury destinations. Just a block away from One World Trade Center, the Santiago Calatrava-designed Oculus, and the Ronald O. Perelman Center for the Performing Arts, the building is at the epicenter of culture and convenience. Nearby Tribeca, Battery Park City, and the Seaport provide an array of high-end shopping and dining options, ensuring that residents have everything they need at their doorstep.

Douglas Elliman Development Marketing is exclusively handling the sales and marketing for The Greenwich by Rafael Viñoly. Leading the team is Stacy Spielman as Director of Sales, with Andrew Anderson, Gail Sankarsingh, and Victor Barbenès rounding out the experienced team. With pricing starting at $995,000 for studios, $1,485,000 for one-bedrooms, $2,495,000 for two-bedrooms, and $3,900,000 for three-bedrooms, The Greenwich offers a range of options for discerning buyers seeking the epitome of luxury living in Manhattan.
